Current VTSF Program Grantees
Throughout the Commonwealth, 99 grants have been issued, totaling more than $4 million in youth tobacco-use prevention program funding for 2008-2009. Forty-seven of these grants are for three-year programs and 52 are for one-year, nonrenewable funding. The one-year grants include 10 targeted grants in underserved communities. Members of Regional Advisory Boards consisting of community representatives reviewed the grant applications and made funding recommendations to the VTSF Board of Trustees members, who voted unanimously to fund these organizations.
