Positive Action Workshop

Workshops are designed to prepare providers to deliver the curriculum with content and process fidelity.   The immersion trainings focus on the acquisition of specific teaching skills through modeling and practice.  Participants are expected to actively participate in designing and delivering portions of the curriculum to other participants in small practice teaching groups.  Participants are provided with an overview of the theoretical foundation of the programs and an overview of each of the curriculum kits in the programs. Issues related to the delivery of ATOD prevention education curricula by grade level are also explored.

Enrollment is limited to the first 30 registrants. (VTSF grantees only).  There is no cost for the training. Closing date of registration is one week prior to the workshop.
